Private lessons
I offer private music lessons for children, teenagers, and adults at different skill levels.
- Tar, Setar, and Kamancheh
- Beginner piano for young children
- In person and online
Students can study Iranian, Azerbaijani, Turkish, and other traditional music while developing strong technique, rhythm, musical expression, and confidence.
How I teach
I believe every student learns differently. I adjust my teaching style according to the student’s age, level, personality, and musical goals.
During lessons, we work on technique, rhythm, listening, musical expression, and repertoire. I demonstrate each piece clearly, break difficult sections into smaller steps, and help students practice them gradually.
My method
My teaching method combines traditional music instruction with practical, step-by-step learning.
-
The foundation
Students first build a strong foundation in posture, hand position, rhythm, listening, and basic technique.
-
Repertoire and performance
As they progress, I introduce more challenging pieces, musical interpretation, ensemble playing, and performance preparation.
-
Between lessons
I also encourage regular practice between lessons. When needed, I can provide recordings or practice guidance so students know exactly what to work on during the week.
From the lesson to the stage
Performing is also an important part of my teaching philosophy. I encourage students to experience music not only in the classroom but also through group rehearsals, workshops, recitals, and live performances.
